In the annual meeting we told everyone that we would be having a meeting in June for a special assessment vote on replacing the perimeter fence. We’ve continued to focus on making that happen, but we need more time to improve the accuracy of our financial projections. Accordingly, we won’t be asking for a new meeting at this time.
The Fence Committee, which reports to the Board, reconvened in May and has been aggressively seeking new estimates/quotes for a fence with the newer, less costly requirements, i.e., 7 feet, no open design and more. The committee met with several new vendors, all commercial fence companies in Denver. The Board now has multiple quotes in hand that are better quality than those received a year ago for replicating the original fence design. We will wait to propose any new special assessment meeting until we have seen things unfold and have more concrete information to share
